Our Rooms

Every room at Highbullen is well appointed, with many offering grand views of the beautiful gardens and sweeping north Devon countryside. Choose the room to suit you from a variety of locations; the grand Manor, or a selection of estate rooms to suit all.

Manor rooms

With eleven bedrooms ranging from spacious solo rooms to cosy doubles under the eaves, the Manor offers a range of sumptuous accommodation. The roomy doubles on the first floor offer long views over Exmoor. Views from other rooms stretch across the golf course and gardens - catching an early morning sunrise is always a treat.

Curl up by the fire in the Manor's drawing room and sink into a good book, or enjoy afternoon tea in great company. For the adventurers and ramblers we have a bundle of wellies and Barbour jackets by the front door - just grab one and start exploring Highbullen's 200 acres of gardens and grounds.

Enjoy cosy evenings in the atmospheric Cellar Bar and Dining Room. The vaulted brick ceilings and stone walls create an air of romance, and our team of chefs put a fresh spin on local produce.

Home Farm Estate Rooms

Perfect for families and groups of friends, Home Farm is a group of converted farm buildings providing independently grouped hotel rooms, so you can relax and enjoy yourself away from the main hotel. Rooms look out over Exmoor or onto the walled garden, beyond which there is an outdoor pool for guests to enjoy during the warmer months.

Home Farm is your very own country bolt hole - a real escape from everyday life. And yet you still have quick access to all the best bits of Highbullen - including our Pavilion (which includes the gym, swimming pool, Green Bar, function room, meeting rooms and golf shop) and Arena for indoor tennis, bowls and sports activities.

Rowcliffe Rooms

If you're looking for complete seclusion - perhaps for a romantic break - The rooms at Rowcliffe sit below the pavilion and benefit from beautiful views down the valley. The four lavishly spacious suites are independently grouped in pairs making it perfect for families, friends, and family friends! And the private pool is perfect for long languid days in the sun.

The ground floor bedrooms have large, private terraces from where you are likely to see pheasants strutting across the meadows and skittish deer on the fringes of the woodland. The panoramic views from the terraces are best enjoyed with a long drink in the evening - but you should really try it for yourself.  

Book early for the summer months as these rooms are always very popular.
