The perfect venue

We've got a fabulous venue that lends itself to hosting magnificent parties!  A stunning location, function rooms galore, delicious food… and no-one has to sleep on the sofa!  Host your special event at Highbullen and relax in the knowledge that our team of staff will look after the details for you.

Setting the scene

We have different venues available to suit all occasions.  You could host your own dinner party in Neil's Dining Room or the Cellar Restaurant - delicious a la carte menus available, or talk to our chefs and create your own menu!

Drinks receptions can be held in the Cellar Bar or the drawing room, or why not host cocktails and canapés on the croquet lawn as the sun sets?

If you're planning a really big bash, up to 140 people can be seated for a meal in our contemporary function room or in the marquee.

Celebration teas are a great way to celebrate family occasions, a get-together with the girls or baby showers.  A feast of delicate patisseries, sandwiches and teas can be served in the elegant drawing room or even al fresco in the gardens.  Make your Devon Cream Tea extra special by adding a glass of champagne and a cake designed especially to celebrate your special occasion

At Highbullen we're passionate about quality.  We use the best local produce to create our menus which are bound to leave you wanting more! 

Gourmet menus or cocktails and canapés - you decide!

We can provide a number of dining options to suit your event perfectly.  From banqueting menus to afternoon tea delicacies, an elegant drinks reception or a laid back BBQ in the grounds, the decision is yours!

Celebrations over, tired but happy, what could be better than to stroll back to your room and relax.  No rushed goodbyes or long journeys home at the end of the day for friends and family who have travelled far.  What's more, you'll have the next day to spend time together and enjoy the fabulous facilities that Highbullen has to offer.

There is a wide range of accommodation options for you and your guests to choose from - a beautiful Manor house room, a secluded suite at The Copse or a delightful room at Home Farm.

You could even treat yourself to a longer stay in one of the idyllic holiday rentals.  The 210 acre Highbullen estate is located in a Unesco Biosphere Reserve renowned for its outstanding beauty and conservation.  Highbullen is a wonderful place to kick back and relax for a week, and there's plenty to do and see at the hotel and in the surrounding area.
