Most guests arrive by car. Take the M5 to Tiverton (exit 27), then the A361 to South Molton. Here, take the B3226 towards Crediton. After 5.2 miles, turn right up the hill to Chittlehamholt. Turn left at the top of the hill towards the village. Highbullen is half a mile beyond the Exeter Inn on the left.

Although Umberleigh is the postal town, it should be ignored since it is some distance away. Similarly Chittlehampton and the hamlet of High Bullen (near Torrington) should also be ignored.

It is easy to come by train. Regular mainline services to Tiverton Parkway and thence by Taxi (£30 to £40, 45 minutes) or onto Exeter St.Davids from which there is a connecting service for the North Devon branch line, to the local King's Nympton station. You will be collected, but please remember to ask the guard to stop the train!

There is also a helicopter landing area or it can be arranged for private planes to land nearby.
