The Fitness Studio is packed with Life Fitness equipment and offers panoramic views across Exmoor.
Our friendly trainers help you focus your workouts to bring you
maximum benefit. Trainers are always on hand to answer your
questions and help you achieve your health and fitness goals.
The variety of exercise options available at Highbullen mean the
arduous task of losing weight or gaining fitness becomes varied and
enjoyable.
Classes
Classes are a great way to have fun, meet people and
build self-confidence whilst getting fit. Our dedicated Studio
offers a range of classes focusing on high energy, dance, strength
and conditioning.
We also have more holistic classes available for those wanting a
gentler exercise experience. Classes include zumba, spin, core
conditioning, fitball, aqua aerobics and circuits.

Pool
Get fit and relax in our 20 metre heated indoor pool
or enjoy the sun in our heated outdoor pools (open all summer).
Swimming is a great low-impact exercise and full-body workout.
Whether serious athlete or social swimmer, our first class
facilities and friendly coaches will plan a programme for you and
arrange lessons for all ages and abilities. Learn in a small group
or have individual lessons based on your specific needs. You can
also join one of our fun swimming programmes such as aqua aerobics
which is a great way to keep fit.
- There is no restriction on junior swimming times anymore however children under the age of 12 need to be accompanied by a responsible adult, the sauna and steam room are for 16's and over only and the Jacuzzi is for over 12's.
- Children swimming lessons Tues and Wed 430-600pm, Saturday 9.30-11am - lane still open for adult swimming only
- If 12 or more attendees for Aquafit the pool lane is removed and pool is closed to non Aquafit swimmers on Mondays and Fridays 1045-1130am, therefore, only Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna available for use at these times.

Gym
The Fitness Studio is equipped with
cardiovascular machines, including treadmills, rowers,
cross-trainers, spin bikes and static bikes. The gym also boasts a
range of resistance machines, free weights, punch bag and Swiss
balls to assist your strength training. Individual cardio theatre
systems provide TV and music while you exercise.
Residential programmes
Highbullen's unique residential programme, The
Fitness Retreat, focuses on fitness and weight loss. Over the
course of one week specialist trainers are on hand to motivate,
advise and support you as you follow an intensive programme
covering exercise, nutrition and lifestyle. Call and speak to
