Today, with 1200 hives dotted all around the North Devon and Somerset countryside, it has become a thriving working honey farm and tourist attraction.The unique BeeWorld exhibition is an interactive experience for all ages and allows you to get up close to active bee colonies, all housed behind protective glass. You will also be able to see behind the scenes of our honey farm, as you take the journey from hive to jar.Daily activities include guided tours, Quince Honey Farm talks, Beekeeping Demos and tasting our delicious honey, all of which are available to buy in our onsite shop. We also offer delicious food in our café and indoor and outdoor play areas for children.A 30 minute hands-on experience. Get a taste of life as a beekeeper, put on protective equipment and work with one of our seasoned professionals to get a look at the inner workings of a hive. We’ll guide you through the whole process, and you’ll get the chance to use a smoker, lift out a frame of bees, and search for the queen.*Please bring enclosed shoes to wear during the Be a Beekeeper session.
