The Gym at Highbullen has a variety of Cardiovascular machines:
- Rowing Machines
- Cross Trainers and Bikes
Plus there is a full range of resistance machines and free weights, squat rack, a functional exercise area with gym balls, medicine balls and stretching mats.
We also have the only Kinesis One machine in North Devon, that allows you the freedom to explore an infinite range of natural movements and exercises.

Our fitness classes include a variety of different sessions to keep your exercise regime varied and social. Our fully qualified instructors welcome all abilities to all of our classes, which offer a fun and interesting but structured and challenging way to exercise. Our classes range from Aquafit to PHIT (Personal High Intensity Training) and Spin to Core Conditioning.
Strictly’ Comes to Highbullen !
‘Strictly Come Dancing’ dance stars Natalie Lowe and Ian Waite have teamed up with six time world champion swimmer Mark Foster and a group of health and fitness professionals to produce a unique dance and fitness programme – ‘FitSteps’. They have combined for the first time the best known and most popular Latin and Ballroom dances with proven fitness techniques, to develop a dance/fitness programme. And for anyone who is thinking, ‘But I can’t dance’, there’s no excuse – you don’t have to able to dance! You just have to want to get fit and have fun.
We are now running weekly classes on Mondays from 6.45 to 7.45pm.
So if you want to get fit, lose those unwanted pounds and have lots of fun in the process then come and have a go.
Classes will be led by Andrea who is an accredited FitSteps Instructor, trained by Natalie and Ian in person.
